Trying to bring back my DND characters.
This is Haze. My first DND character, a Scuirian Ranger, who was taken away to be a guard for a far away instatude, managed to flee away, but arrived to his tribe with no one alive.
He would be the only character of mine to have a campaign completed.
Rosshardt, a Firbolg Barbarian. Who is a gentle soul, and tries to stay away from conflict as much as he can. He tried to protect his town from a raid, for a short moment he had rescued a small child he adopted before she passed in his arms from her injuries.
Blotch, my Chameleon Rogue, she was well know for making potions for her town with her grandfather and her twin brother. She was betrayed by her brother which led to the death of their grandfather, and was shunned by her fellow towns folk. She aims to take down the new ruler who bribed her brother and too, take him down as well and reconcile with her town.
Both Blotch and Rosshardt were in different campains led by the same DM, a different DM from Haze's campaign but both had to halt due to poor timing with the DM as their would write the day of the session last minute and half of the time cancel while waiting. There were other issues but it'll become too personal.
I'm no longer friends with that DM or with those who I played with apart from one of them. As they were rude and horrible people who took advantage of me and I feel better with them gone from my life.
I had 2 other campaigns that were franchise based, both also halted to never play again. One lead by an ex friend who wasn't a good writer putting more focus on the NPC characters rather than the player characters. It was based on Digimon. And another was partners with that DM and current partner to the last campaign DM, stopped the campaign as the story went all over the place steering away from what it was originally going to be, a sort of game hopping story as it was based on Super Smash Bros.
But those characters won't be returning as I wanted to make fresh faces. And they didn't really have proper DND rules because of them being based on the gimmicks of the series.
With the little time i did have with them, I wanted to do more with them, and make them some new friends that'll fit in the other roles of DND and make them a new party with a better story.
