Finally unleashing the Dr Stone Pokemon AU thingy that's been sitting in my brain for a while ! Today I'll show you the moment Senku and Roswell, his future lifelong pokemon partner, met for the 1st time !!

Ok ok so listen- A wild elgyem randomly spots Senku as he does one of his usual outdoors experiments. He immediatly becomes very intrigued with this little human !! Like, he's never seen a human make fire with a tool made of glass before ??? How does he do all this ?
And so he secretly observes Senku everytime he comes back for experiments outside until the fateful night of their 1st encounter. It's the 1st drawing before cut but you can have the sketch as a treat :
Under the calm starry sky, Roswell finally feel confident enough to approach Senku and playfully uses his psychic powers on him, which leaves Senku completely amazed and flabbergasted.
I like to imagine elgyem to be an extremely rare pokemon here (which explains Byakuya's shock when Senku brings one home haha), so to Senku, an unknown pokemon just used psychic powers he's never seen before, how exciting that is !! He just wants to know everything about this pokemon, how does this lil alien looking mon do all that stuff ?!! And so, Senku brings him home and these 2 very curious souls quickly become friends, striving to learn more and more about each other and about the world they live in...! ;w;
Why the name Roswell ? Well uh...I'm french and in french, elgyem is named lewsor, which is reverse for Roswell (a place known for a supposed UFO crash case), and I thought it sounded like a good name haha XD Doesn't it have a little scientific ring to it ?? No ? Ahem. No matter, his name is Roswell now that is settled.
Less important ramble now :
You know, this started as just me wanting to pair Dr Stone characters with mons but I ended up caring about these two more than I thought XD Elgyem was the 1st to pop in my mind when I thought of Senku, and I was surprised to not see anyone else do it !! I mean maybe some ppl did, but the few I've seen usually pair Senku with mons like leafeon, which...I totally understand when looking at how much they look alike hair wise lmaoooo
But see, Elgyem is green too, and he has a big brain like Senku, and he looks like he comes from space and Senku loves space and doesn't his black forehead lines vaguely look like Senku's petrification scars ??
Wdym I'm looking to much into it ?! Yes maybe I am, but is it fun ? Also yes.

Like his coat color looks like Senku's outfit's color post petrification ! Not saying that Senku's pokemon partner had to look like him tho, but it just explains how I came to pair them up haha
Unsure when Roswell evolves but I've been thinking during the time Senku was in highschool...rip elgyem form, he was so cute but Roswell stays Roswell no matter what !
