#marchdownmemorylane, Day 26: South Dakota! My homie @jen.makes.things joined me for a few days of my adventure, right when I was going through Montana and the Dakotas. We stayed two nights at a sweet lake campground in the Black Hills National Forest (totally recommend #roubaixlake), and in a single day we saw Mount Rushmore, had a prime rib dinner and some touristy fun in the town of Deadwood, and went to Sturgis (a few days before the big motorcycle rally) so Jen could get a star tattoo to commemorate the trip. It was a lot of fun crammed into a short amount of time, but sometimes that’s the way the adventure goes. Especially in areas like Deadwood, where the tourism season is so short!
