Jonah wasn’t subtle at his long glances to the new neighbour, and even his fiancé picked up on it. In fact, he was the one who baked a pie — a welcome pie — and forced Jonah to be the one to deliver to him. So he marched out of his house, and then knocked on the neighbour’s door. He had done this a million times, but every time he was just giddy as the first. “Uh, Hi. I’m Jonah. I live next door.” He said, when the door “I brought you a pie.”
