Fairy Tail Couples as Disney/ any animated Pairing part one

Nalu (Natsu x Lucy)

Definitely Aladdin and Jasmine! Lucy living her life stuck in the four walls of her old childhood mansion expected to act and behave a certain way and deciding to run away in order to live a more happy and fulfilled life is a big part of what makes her and Jasmine so similar. Natsu, similar to Aladdin who is known by others to cause trouble encounters Lucy and shows her a “whole new world” by bringing her to Fairy Tail. This couple is literally Nalu 😭.

Rowen (Romeo x Wendy)

This one I had to really think about it but I feel like personality wise the way Cinderella carries herself through kindness throughout the film is really similar to the way Wendy acts and interacts with others. The prince is rarely in the classic film so when him and Cinderella get together there isn’t much build up to that moment but when they interact it’s just absolutely wholesome and this pairing I feel is best fit for Rowen.

Jerza (Jellal x Erza)

This one screams Jerza! From having a story of a female character grow into a strong warrior who makes a name for herself and fights for the one she loves to having the overall couple be a power couple the way Jellal and Erza. Also the way Shang tries to keep his feelings professional by not saying how he truly feels to Mulan is so similar to Jellal’s excuse of having a fiancé.

Gajevy (Gajeel x Levy)

Levy and her love for literature is similar to Belle and how she seeks out more then just having that average life where no one even bothers to understand her. Gajeel and the Beast both being isolated from others and having a similar initial first encounter of just treating their said love interest terribly before atoning and evantually falling in love with the one person who reaches their heart.

Elfever (Elfman x Evergreen)

Okay Elfever might actually fits Esmeralda and Phoebus. Since it’s a dynamic filled with playful bickering/bantering which is present in Elfman and Evergreen’s relationship. Both of them are depicted as being strong and protective of the things they love.

Gruvia (Gray x Juvia)

Juvia who grew up being the rain women and feeling alone met Gray who practically changed her whole worldview similar to how Ariel who stayed underwater had such curiosity with going to the surface because of her feelings for Eric. Eric who’s often bashful with being confrontational about his feelings kind of reminds me of Gray who puts a bit of a wall up when it comes to his romantic feelings (pre 100 yr quest). Ariel and Juvia both have such animated facial expressions and are very honest with how they feel 🥺.

Zervis (Zeref x Mavis)

I mainly felt this one fit best because of how Mavis and Rapanzel are personality wise and how they both wanted to get away from the sheltered life they once had. Not to mention how smart both of those characters are. I feel like a Zervis tangled au would be so fun to explore.

Stingyu (Sting x Yukino)

This one might feel random since there isn’t much of Stingyu’s dynamic to go off of. But I feel like this couple would fit the classic Disney couple trope of the male character trying every pick up line known to man to impress the female character and waking her up from her the curse she has fallen under with a kiss.

Rogura (Rogue x Kagura)

Meg and Kagura are actually so similar in the way they respond to people. I can see Rogue being a bit clumsy with his own feelings while Kagura enjoys having that push/pull dynamic with Rogue. Can you imagine Kagura singing that “I won’t say I’m in love” song?? 😭.

Bacanna (Bacchus x Cana)

Bacchus ended up getting on Cana’s nerves thought his first introduction and how he ended up stealing her bra and her wanting revenge for that. I feel like despite them getting along as drinking buddies they would definitely bicker and argue a lot before eventually falling for each other. Like both of them are super honest especially if it’s hurling insults at each other .

so I didn't get to yap too much on the bop post because it was 11:30 on a school night and I was typing away at my laptop to deliver the chapter. yeah ANYWAYS that was an angsty gift for this idiot's birthday however I will be finishing a drawing for him when I get home.
