RoxyAnn Winery
Nestled in the hills of Medford, RoxyAnn Winery has secured a comfortable space where anyone will feel at ease. Offering a wide variety of wines, you will definitely find something you love and can’t leave without! I visited the tasting room and had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable, which is what you need when sampling wines. My friend and I tried the wine flight, which featured five different wines – all fantastic and all for only $5!
2010 RoxyAnn Viognier – Sweet and smooth. Offering a creamy texture with flavor notes of floral scents, pear, melon, and apricot. We loved this wine so much we couldn’t wait for the next tasting!
2011 Frank Family Chardonnay – The flavorful wine offers aromas of apricot, apple, and pineapple, accompanied by notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and hazelnut. Mmm!
2009 RoxyAnn Merlot – I’m not a huge red wine fan, however this wine surely changed my mind! I loved the richness of this wine and the aromas of blackberry and mocha. A seriously good merlot grown here in the valley.
2009 RoxyAnn Claret – Another great red wine made here. It has flavors of ripe cherry, blackberry pie filling, mocha, chocolate raspberry truffle, and sweet vanilla oak. Sounds quite delicious doesn’t it? Well, it was!
2009 RoxyAnn Syrah – This tasty red wine is full of blackberry, cherry, and white pepper. The tasting notes says it has a “lingering finish”… And it did, I loved every sip!
We also had the chance to sample their pear wine. As a dessert wine, you'll love this wine made from fruit grown here in Oregon and it's great with some Rogue Creamery bleu cheese. If you’re interested in sampling some wine for yourself, check them out! The tasting room is open Monday through Thursday from 12pm – 7pm, Friday 11am – 9pm, and Saturday and Sunday 11am – 7pm. The tasting room is located inside a barn where you’ll find all of their wines on display and ready for drinking.
