Roy blinked. "There are when it's not a car chase but you trying to get to the house to eat the fresh doughnuts before Bart gets there. See, this is why Dinah lets me drive the motorcycle and not you." Herbrow furrowed. "Besides, Had Dick go get fresh ones AFTER I sent Tim . That means we're guaranteed sugary goodness.Not that that matters, because we still would not be running red lights, cause that's...bad." See, she could get the hang of this parenting thing, she didn't know why Dick thought it was so hard.

She's not used to seeing Steph like this, so vulnerable, so serious. Really, she fit in so damn well with the rest of the arrows, complete with humor to cover up all the parts they didn't want anyone else to see. Hell, sometimes it was easy to forget that that all had more goddamn layers than any onion Shrek wanted to compare himself to. Easiest with Steph most of all, much as Roy hated to say it. The rest had visible scars, physical or mental , no one could spend ore than an hour around them without realizing they were damaged. But Steph? Hell, she was Dick made over, so good at pretending to be normal that the almost believed it themselves. "Sometimes I don't even think I remember who the girl I was before...everything.' Roy admitted. "But you...think you've got a lot of ....you still there. " She gave a small shrug. "Wanna eat ice cream and talk about it?"

"Ok, wait, hold up, who?" Roy had to admit, she might have been only half listening to the other girl. It wasn't that she didn't care about what Stephane was saying, but she was a tiny bit distracted that day, considering it was a weekend which meant the house was full, complete with dodging Bart every five minutes. "I heard dead and Seaworld. Did Ollie and Fish Master finally make good on their threats to blow the place up?"

well, i did go to cheerleader camp for two weeks. i got kicked out. (steph)

roy"Look, I would love to make so many jokes right now, but I have a sneaky suspicion that Dinah actually was a cheerleader and I am terrified of Mom anger so, Imma sadly have to let this opportunity for witty comments pass and pray that someone else in this place takes up the mantle of sarcasm and sass instead."

Roy glanced down at her scuffed boots. "Ok, look, I know they might not be the most fashionable thing, but they are comfortable and practical, and black goes with everything. Plus...I don't trip all over them. I'm ...not exactly a high heels kinda girl, ok?"
