Hundreds of Morris Minors await at Londons docks for export abroad to add to Britain's balance of payments in 1950. Introduced at Londons motor show in 1948, the Minor became extremely popular and was the brainchild of the Greek born engineer and designer Alec Issigonis, who had originally started work for Morris in 1936 and would later go on to design the famous Mini.
