Today was the annually royal run. 95.000 people participated and it takes place all over the country. This year my town was part of it.
The king started here by running the one mile. Then he went on to Aarhus to run 5 kilometres before finishing in Copenhagen by running 10 km.
His youngest son beat him by running the 10 km in 47 minutes.
I didn’t run in the race but was out running this morning. By the end of my training I had to give up running on the hill the runners are on in the video.
But apparently the king is in much better shape. Not only is he running he is also smiling and talking.
