Thankyou Roypoi for the questions. This is my first ever tumblr post and I am spending it lavishly talking about myself. Here goes:
What have you done recently that you’ve been proud of?
I just finished my MA but I don't think I really felt proud. I can't think of anything that recent. I was proud of getting a first in my BA.
If you could hang out with just one of the Disney princesses, who would it be?
I am not well acquainted with many of the Disney princesses. If Mulan counts, then her, because she is a badass.
Space captain or pirate captain?
Definitely space captain. There's less scurvy and space is awesome. Who wouldn't want to float around and see the earth from far a distance? They say if you're weightless in space a long time and you're not careful (taking your vitamins and such) your body will end up excreting all the calcium in your bones and when you return to Earth gravity all your bones crumble under the pressure. That doesn't sound appealing but that seems like the only negative. That and food from tubes (still, better than maggoty ships biscuits).
Pet person? What type of pets?
My parents have a dog who is sweet but malts a lot. I like pets but I think I am allergic to the hair, which is a set back. Also being quite disorganised, I worry that I would inadvertently kill any pet I did have. In fact, that is a reoccuring nightmare of mine.
If you could travel back in time to see any dead/disbanded music group or artist in their prime, who?
Tricky one. Maybe Nina Simone. Maybe Queen. Maybe Hendrix? Too many.
Sleeping in – yay or nay?
Sometimes but not for too long or I panic that I am wasting my life.
Marmite or peanut butter? (I don’t know if they have Marmite outside Great Britain, if they do not then replace with jam/jelly).

Somedays one, somedays the other. Today, introvert.
Name a character from a piece of fiction you admire.
Is it the fiction or the character that I admire? Recently read Foxfire by Joyce Carol Oates and I admired the magnetism and sheer burning ambition of Legs Sadovsky. Great book.
Biggest expenditure – besides living costs?
Probably entertainment - books, films, concerts, alcohol.
Do you enjoy watching your favourite films or shows with friends, or do you find their lack of rapt concentration too infuriating to bear?
Haha I think I can guess your opinion on this from the phrasing of the question, Roy. It depends. If they don't enjoy it then yes I probably will be a bit annoyed, but they are allowed to make comments/go to the loo in less crucial parts.
I don't know enough people on tumblr to tag, so this thread dies here, I'm afraid!
