Rozza & Syleena: Destiny Defined
Syleena was a genuine sweetheart and belonged to one of the richest families residing in the luxurious seaside city of Diamond Bay. On the outside, anyone would consider her a typical rich girl. But there was something that almost no one knew about her.
Syleena was born with the ability to see into people’s souls. The nature of their intentions, demons that plagued the heart, and truth in their words (or lack of it) were laid in front of her with a simple touch or look into the eyes.
It was a gift that turned into more of a curse. Faking smiles and ignoring lies made her life as a teen feel empty. When her eyes turned from their natural color to a heavy blue, people assumed that she had bought contact lenses. But it was really her powers reflecting her deepest emotion. It took a (very) long while before she would be able to control them and accept her imperfect world for what it was.
All Syleena wanted was to do good and make a positive impact on the lives of others. So, naturally, she turned to volunteer work at hospitals and nurseries, offering her company and services to those who appreciated it. She still maintained a social life of her own but these were places where she could feel the most comfortable.

It was the summer after high school graduation. Syleena aimed to enjoy it before making her way to college, per her parents’ “best interests”.
While at the hospital, she came across the room of a red-haired coma victim who was badly injured from head to toe. The staff had no information on the young man and not one person had come to visit him in his few days present. It had been some time since Syleena had used her soulseeing ability but she was too curious not to use it here. When she laid her hand on his, she was shocked and rattled like nothing she ever felt. Whoever this person was, they had a major issue at hand.
Syleena would regularly check the room on her rounds. Day by day, she could see the man’s wounds healing, much faster than she thought would be possible. The next week, she would find him awake.
They exchange introductions and Sy learns the man’s name, Rozza, who was nothing but pleasant. But she knew something was underneath.
Over the next few days, she returned to visit him and they chatted, growing very close very fast. But the more they talked, the more worry Syleena could see in Rozza. He opened up to tell her that he had to get back home as soon as he was well enough. Thing was, his homeland of Evillia was on the other side of the world. He had no idea how he ended up in Diamond Bay but the last thing he remembered was witnessing the murder of his nation’s leader, Lord Affalos.
They checked the media. It told that Lord Affalos was betrayed by his guardsmen but Rozza denounced the reports. He had seen the true killer with his own eyes and fought him at the scene. The result being his current condition.
Syleena saw only truth in Rozza’s eyes. This was something big. Not exactly joyed with her preset life, Syleena would accompany Rozza on his quest home to set the record straight. It would be a life-changing journey for the both of them, with the adventures and mysteries that awaited. But having each other at their side, they won’t let anything stop them.
