After the conversation with Fleur, Marcus spent the day in Neros garage trying to fix up an old car that hadn’t been moved for almost 3 years! Working on things like that helped him to keep a clear head and refocous.
The next morning, he nearly didn’t want to go for his normal run. But At the crack of dawn Artemis was licking his face, eager to get going. So he pulled on his shorts and vest, and headed out into the fresh air. He foregoed the usual breif hour run in favour of a 2 hour trek around fields and roads he was yet to visist. Once the world started to wake up though, he figured he should start to head back.
Running along the street, he did his best to avoid the people walking by, keeping quick on his toes. But when he moved aside to pass an elderly couple, he stayed close to the side of the building and turned the corner blind, running straight into something. Falling sideways his elbow skimmed the pavement on the way down.
