Yes, I am messed up but I would love to live in a place like this back home for like ≤$100 USD a month close to the city. We're not that bad yet but in the city a normal sized place is like ≥$400

from the top of his head

to the toes of his feet,

you can find a number of imperfections:

his hair is curly and wild,

there’s a gap in his teeth,

and his heart has had its share of rejections.

there’s scars on his ribs,

his knuckles, his knees—

a reminder of the person he was before—

but his face and his body

don’t define who he is

because his mind and his soul mean so much more.

you can’t tell from the outside,

but this guy is poetic;

he’s artistic and witty to boot.

the magic that surrounds him

is highly magnetic.

he’s astounding, which is something he’d dispute.

there’s a select few

that actually get close

and are able to see this and bear witness.

unfortunately, there’s fewer—

one person, maybe two—

that will admire and appreciate his magnificence.

i know he is destined

for great things ahead

and I know he will succeed with grace.

and for those in his life

that admire his strength,

there’s no being that could ever take his place.

i am so thankful

to have met this man

and to have known him at such a deep level.

and I hope that one day

he will accept for himself

that he’s marvelous and positively unforgettable.
