A few years ago, Deathbomb Arc had the immense honor of reissuing the entirety of rRope’s incredible catalog of music. This tragically overlooked 90s noiserock band was finally met with the critical acclaim they deserve (and if you remain unfamiliar with them, definitely check out this interview with them over at Pitchfork). Now another rRope rarity has blessed us, in the form of a long lost music video for “Step Right Up”. Huge thanks to the Ad Hoc site for debuting it!

DEATHBOMB TRACK OF THE DAY: RROPE "JINGLE JANGLE"
A couple years ago Deathbomb Arc had the honor of bringing back not just a lost gem, but an entire lost jewel mine of 90s noise rock in the form of rRope's full discography. Most people had never heard of this incredible group, and those that listened before reading the bio would say things like "this is the sound of the future!" Then we'd say, "actually its the sound of the past!" In any case, the rRope's music is more vital and fresh today than it ever has been. The track of the day, "Jingle Jangle" is a mutant pop song they did, full of strange arrangements, virtuoso drumming, and true alien joy! Check it out!
