What is this dreamzzz space au you speak of?
i ddont remember what post this is referencing but i only have one space dreamzzz au last i knew so ill infodump anyway :)
logan, my beautiful fav, lives on just some backwater moon in a slow part of the galaxy. not much hppens there, it's habitable to humans and that's really the only notable thing about it.
well logan, he's always wanted to be a starship pilot when he grows up. pilots are important, a ship cant fly without one, so there are resources to train to become a pilot. when logan was like young elementary age, like 7 maybe im not sure, he got his moms to enroll him in a like junior class thingy.
he failed so badly he dropped out of the class. because of the embarrassment, everyone tells logan he'll never fly. that he'll be a groundie his whole life, maybe ride in a civilian transport once or twice.
until a specific Famous Starship stops by on this moon. this starship is known for their pilot tests that are open to snyone, regardless of piloting background, that you can receive university scholarships from.
so, seeing as Logan would love to be ine of those few young prodigies who get ensured future edjucation as a pilot, he does the test. its like a mock cockpit projecting a hologram sort of thing.
now logan does know the basics, so he manges to get the simulation into the air without crashing. then he starts flying through sinulated space and. he just wishes it were real.
logan is a good pilot, it turns out. he gets selected for a second day of testing where he'll be in a rek starship--with a remote copilot with full override access.
logan gets tlking with his copilot--a girl about his age named Astrid--while getting a feel for how real barrel rolls feel. by the end of the session, Astrid gets suddenly quiet. her parting words are "i can't wait to see you again."
those words confused logan. she sounded so sure they would meet again. how?
also, turns out logan is a too good pilot, which indicates a dangerous mental type and he needs to be taken to a government asylum.

why? ehhhh logan has super powers.
i dont know how much i remember correctly, but each dream crafter just has a space-connected power in this au. izzie can map out entire vast stretches of space with perfect accuracy (can feel the celestial bodies' locations in proximity to her?) cooper had something to do with tech and somehow i tied it to space?? matep can make black holes. logan has like insane piloting instinct (i think i just straight up forgot his power). zoey has time manipulation. idk if i decided anything for astrid.
also, albert is the ahip comouter ai thingy (and, like in most sci-fi, is actually alive)
