I’d really love to finish it one day for y’all. I remember hating the process a lot, and seriously struggling to push forward—but looking back on the pages is like WOAH I did that : D

Hopefully one day I can find enough free time and a smoother process to get pages done that doesn’t exhaust me and wrap it all up.

Regardless, thank you again for sharing your kind words, and I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed what I managed to make of 3 Chapters over the years. 🤗

Pride and Probity

AY OOPSIE DOOP I just realized some of the navigation links for Pride and Probity pages were either completely missing or somehow broken. (Also please note tumblr has been a little glitchy about some of them so lmk if any links route you to an incorrect or "Not Found” page. >m<)

I just went through and updated them all, as well as the links on the Archive page, so they should all work now. Apologies especially to new readers who may have gotten stuck on a page that didn’t have a properly updated Next link, but uh SURPRISE THERES MORE PAGES. X’D

Also obligatory acknowledgment I’ve been on an undefined hiatus of the comic due primarily to pursuing other areas of my life that needed attention, and secondarily to feelings of self-doubt and uncertainty in my storytelling. I do hope to eventually continue, or at least provide a satisfying summary of sorts. <3 Stay tuned!

So I'm just curious. What attracted you to love Asura so much?

Oh gosh where do I start. First and foremost I’ve always been a fan of the sort of...sophisticated/posh/scholarly character archetypes in media. Such as Doctor Doppler from Treasure Planet or Zippo from Dinotopia orrrrr I guess Mr. Banks from Mary Poppins? (sorry I can’t think of more examples atm qwq) Plus a lot of the humor and wit sprinkled into Asura banter/dialogue I generally love and it additionally reminds me often of Invader Zim which I’m also a huge fan of.

I’ve also always been a fan of unique executions of advanced technology if that makes sense? Like anyone can do future sci-fi, but I find concepts of technology in modern day or older times much more intriguing and fun. For example: the designs of spaceships/technology in Invader Zim or Lilo & Stitch, the ancient technology of Atlantis in Atlantis: The Lost Empire and, again like in Treasure Planet especially how it’s rustic but advanced at the same time. Related: I love technobabble.

Plus I’ve always generally been a fan of goblin/gremlin/alien creatures and races.
