Finally
I watched the Pilot for Achievement Haunter and it was spot on!! Everything I wanted in an episode, and it was great! The fireside hype with the MDB vibe was great, gets you into the stories without losing the idea that a bunch of skeptical idiots are going to run through the place. The layout of the investigation was nice, and it really had a well balanced kick of actual attempts to find ghosts and them being silly. The pace was great, not too long and it was cut together nicely. They did add the suspense music and sound effects just as any other ghost show which was a good touch, albeit my least favorite part of a ghost show (makes it hard to hear what they heard in the actual room). It would be cool to see them try for voices next, or try to speak with them with recording devices. I have to say, as an active Scare Actor myself, watching Geoff get spooked by the Gents was by far my favorite part of the whole episode! 😂😂 that poor babe, he didn’t stand a chance. All in all I am very much looking forward to the next one! I am glad Geoff had the idea to start this up, it’s a fun watch.
Maybe down the line, to incorporate more of a let’s play feel, they could do challenges or rituals in creepier places for a point system? Much like what MTV’s “Fear” did back in the early 2000’s, the challengers had to go it alone or in pairs and perform rituals and even sacrifices in order to get the spirits active. It could make for a good watch plus more fun for the skeptics like Michael and Jeremy, might even up the spook factor for them. It would definitely be content! Anyways that’s my two cents. Can’t wait for more to come!
Tower of Gents!

This @taylorswift reaction video (and the impromptu “Teardrops on My Guitar” cover from one of the guys!) is giving me life.
