Polishing a CRV Differenrial housing today! Cleaning this one up to see if its possible to get that mirror type finish without my media blast cabinet. Since we are locked away from the shop because of #covid19 we are going to play reindeer games st the house with the dremel for now. Another one going together! Equipped with #RacingDiffs Moly-Ceramic RTAWD clutches, Akdbuilt Quick Spool Kit, and a Gear X Torsen rear LSD this differential will see all of it's rated 1000HP rating being installed into @ef9jugglerhartcm5 's EF "B" Series chassis. Here is a brief overview of a differential built for a customer Obadiah! A fellow shop owner he has requisitioned for us to build a differential for one of his customers that has received a Marriott of performance parts and performance rebuild. This differential running #RacingDiffs #rtawd Performance Clutches, #GEAR-X Torsen LSD and our #AKDBUILT Dual Pump Quick Spool kit will see 800hp-1000hp At the track this year. This differential professionally rebuilt has received new bearings, fill and drain port, O rings, nylon washer, differential seals, and has been media blasted and sealed to prevent corosion. New and out of the box these Progressive CRV/ Element/ Cross-tour LSD’s are FAR superior to the OEM Honda RT-AWD Open Differential! They offer increases traction and performance across the board with adjustable spring rates and a RAMP angle assembly that allows a progressive, tunable lock increasing performance to the rear wheels dramatically improving power distribution to the rear wheels. Conversion sets are made from high quality tool steel, heat treated using argon gas specifications to achieve maximal precision. For all friction components we use the same materials as used in our LSD clutch sets. All parts are fabricated according to N7 quality standards.We had lots of questions about what is the difference between our product and Phantom grip and answer is that this is completely different system. Here are some key points:Phantom grip locks differential only by high rated springs, while our product has ramp angle on central channel where small gears axle passes through. That provides dynamic/progressive lock exactly the same as factory ZF LSD.
