(Recent long ask RTR anon) I'm so glad you enjoyed my ask! My social anxiety spiked the second I hit send and I got scared lol. Some thoughts on newest eps:

1. Seeing Snowy again makes me so happy ahh thank you!!

2. Wow you weren't kidding about the ribbon thing happening soon...

3. The way Blade seems so panicked when calling for Rose😭😭 they've formed such a bond I love it

4. It sounds like we still have plenty of comic left (I hope so) but the way they're in a cold place now when Rose's fate says she'll die in a cold place is scaring me

5. Gall is such a good first mate and friend, so glad Roha has him

6. A polar bear (Roha) and a seal (Ishki) having a romance always makes me smile a little (even tho it ends bad lol)

7. Roha just keeps getting sexier, bravo. The vengeance in his eyes is 🔥

8. Also his lil *sniff sniff* hehe

Aaaah and I enjoy your ask yet again, dear anon!!

There will be more of Snowy in coming episodes ^_^

Now Rose is ribbonless for the first time in the story :')

Obvi this isn't shown in-comic, but in my own head Blade is the one who REALLY led the search, by virtue of running ahead of everyone to check every street first 😅 the rest of the crew are reluctant to draw so much attention to themselves, hence Roha's hood.

Oh god... PLENTY of comic left. Too much, in fact... I've been musing over how to cut it down, if only so I'll be able to finish it while I still have my grant, bc there's no way I could make an episode a week when I go back to work outside the arts ;_; I got an artist income grant which is quite literally the only reason the comic has survived this long, so I'm working hard to get as many projects finished as possible while I still have that financial support.

I wasn't kidding about Gallan when I made that character intro sheet way back in 2022 haha:

6. Thank you! I wanted to make Roha and Ishki both ferocious aquatic predators, and I liked the idea of a leopard seal and a polar bear because they both exist in similar environments, they both have similar levels of menace, but they exist on totally opposite sides of the world, and that just felt right to me. When Ishki and Roha have their fight in the latest episode, Ishki has cut her hair to Roha's length while he's grown his out to hers - they are in many ways identical but simultaneously total opposites. Ishki feels every emotion intensely while Roha suppresses all emotions until he feels nothing, and so rather than meeting in the middle they drive each other to the opposite extremes.

7. I'm always challenging myself to make Roha sexier ^_^ I can't wait to draw him covered in blood

8. When a polar bear has your scent... You better watch out 👀
