hey guys so i stayed up all night and i just glanced at my funhaus poster and started crying because adam kovic smiled at me once. like genuinely smiled at me.
if jessica sees this post she’ll probably sigh and be like “i know jill it’s been months and you still have never stopped talking about the time adam kovic smiled at you” but cmon its adam kovic
like i can honestly say that that tiny moment on the escalators at RTX 2015 is one of my favorite memories to date
we made eye contact and i kind of made an excited/surprised face and adam looked me in the eye and smiled
it was fantastic
guys it's getting late and I'm still exhausted from this weekend but like I met spoole and matt peake and matt and I had a conversation about his journal on the rt site about being single and it not equaling your worth and stuff and he was rly bummed that the site wasn't letting him log in to his account and he was like "I'm glad it helped someone that's really awesome thank you" and he initiated a hug and like matt peake is the nicest human being on the planet can confirm he's so so sweet wow
RTX DAY ONE
okay so today was probably the best day of my life I met Joel Heyman and everything was perfect. Him and Joel made me some CAH cards and Joel was v confused on what to write which was cute
we went to the team Tina meet up which was really fun and we made some new friends there which was really awesome
we went to the creatures booth where I got some signatures, stickers, tattoos and a beanie!
we stalked funhaus because I’m crazy and James came over when we were complaining about the charging station not working and was like “yeah no that doesn’t work at all” and I was v disappointed because my phone was at 14% but I lived
i met holly which was awesome :’)
max was super nice just like last year! and everything was great ahh I love it here
Team Tina meet-up hype!! if any of you guys are at RTX buurnieburns and I are at Palm Park waiting for Tina!!! Come hang out!
RTX DAY 0
the day before RTX. has been. incredible.
we arrived in Austin at like 1:30 and had some drama with the hotel but we ended up fine.
when we went to the convention center to pre reg the first people we ran into were all of FUNHAUS. we didn’t stop em or anything because they looked like they were going somewhere but they were all so glorious and I made intense eye contact with Bruce.
i met an internet friend!!! fhdoodsoop!!! which was cool!! we lurked in the Marriott lobby for a while looking for rt/fh employees but hey no one showed up :/
buurnieburns and I went to P F Changs and while we were eating Adam Ellis walked by and I whisper yelled “Gilby” the whole time
we got back to our hotel after a wonderful lyft ride with a guy named Brian. he was funny. now were watching the avengers and I’m stuffing my face with reeses pieces.
I CANT WAIT FOR TOMORROW!!! WE MEET JOEL AND ADAM AND HOPEFULLY TINA AND AHH!!!!
