I saw your sketch of your RA OC and I was wondering if you feel up to tell some more about them? They look really awesome already and, correct me if I'm wrong, but they give vibes to be from a different country than Araluen? Really love the details of the tattoos on his right hand!

ABSOLUTELY!! You are correct, he’s NOT originally from Araluen!! This is Ruaraidh (anglicized as “Rory”) MacInnes, originally from Picta!! He wound up orphaned in Araluen and then apprenticed in the Ranger Corps - I really like the idea of a character trying to stay true to his own cultural identity (especially with how Araluens feel about the Scotti) while being a dedicated Ranger!

He does the tattoos himself, his cloak is actually a féileadh mór (great kilt), and he’s singlehandedly keeping the “Rangers practice sorcery” rumor alive by pretending to put curses on people andkfnfjf
