(anon off) (also this is unrelated to the last anons/asks on the fic that's said to be odd,, i dunno what fic is being talked about, and i been meaning to write something related to Vanilla/Ruby but forgot to 💦)
so i'm reading a few Thea Sisters books i got from the library,, and it's new of me to see Vanilla/Ruby just,, being nice to the Thea Sisters. granted it was cause they saved her life and others lives cause some crooks were trying to make a volcano explode. (book: Thea Stilton/Sisters and The Legend Of The Fire Flowers)
if anything, she makes for a good antagonist. much like Vic (before switching to being a protagonist alongside the Thea Sisters), and their mother. i just wish there were more moments of Vanilla/Ruby showing she isn't really a heartless monster who cares for no one but herself (even in the graphic novels she called off paparazzi that was bothering a famous surfer she liked). showing she does appreciate the Thea Sisters.
just,, still a flawed person who lets jealousy and her own insecurities drive her into doing things, that and maybe even due to being spoiled by her mother, or even wanting to keep that love her mom gives her the most (cause we see how her mom doesn't favor Vic all that much) now that i think about it,, she reminds me a lot of Diamond Tiara from MLP FIM. not a villain, but is an antagonist at best who has the potential to be a morally grey protagonist.
