building kharis with and connecting more to the greek gods: day 1 ☆

for context i’m a devotee of lord apollon & lady aphrodite, i worship hekate and ares. i’m trying to honor more of the greek pantheon besides the ones i typically worship, but i’m going to be including my interactions with all of the gods because i’ve been feeling disconnected in general

dedicated my skin-care and getting ready to aphrodite (my mom told me immediately afterwards that i looked prettier?)

dedicated my ride to and from school to hermes

played the guitar for apollon

self-care night for aphrodite

lit aphrodite's candle and talked to her

not much, but aphrodite's presence felt very heavy so i'm happy <3

some things i want to do next:

yap/pray to more deities

create digital altars or drawings as offerings

i'm thinking of starting to worship Lady Athena, she's honestly a deity i've always been somewhat interested in, but never got the chance to worship. but soon, I'm gonna start to focus more on my studies, so I feel like it might be a perfect time to introduce her into my practice. I'm probably not going to be able to make her a physical altar, but I'm gonna look into what I can do for her. :)

on the bright side, i convinced my mom to give me 2 old keys. I'm gonna turn them into jewelry for lady hekate. i was originally gonna buy them premade, but I realized DIY is much cooler
