And here’s a little podcast sound byte to complete my Sober Curious triptych. I’ve been wanting to post this for weeks but had to hold it back because I was concerned that it needed proper space to breathe when the marketing and joys of Homobloc and all the other parties and glamorous pictures that I have posted in that time would have overshadowed it. Let’s face it - living sober is a serious, life changing topic and this is a beautiful, deep and raw ‘no holds barred’ look at my journey towards and reasons for being as sober as I can possibly be (and yet still being as fun as I am and always will be). It’s a journey not without it’s fits and starts. It’s a journey that makes every night in a club or a bar a massive challenge especially when both are geared to satisfying alcohol drinkers and the non alcoholic / mocktail option is most likely something from the fizzy drinks gun or water.
