There’s this great forensics documentary series made by the smithsonian that I LOVE and I’m blanking on the name of. I think it’s “Catching Killers”? It goes through the histories of forensic advancements. Not sure if its your cup of tea though

you could always watch “I Am Divine” although something tells me you’ve already seen it many times, Man on Wire is just so so cool, Being Elmo and Salinger look interesting though I haven’t seen them yet.

I have indeed seen I Am Divine, but it might warrant a re-watch! Man on a Wire looks very interesting (holy shit, just looking at the movie poster gives me chills), I'll definitely check out Being Elmo, and I can't believe I haven't seen Salinger yet -- I was obsessed with his writing in high school. I was wondering if you had any advice on blending textures vs. background ones?

I don't know what you mean by "advice" but I personally don't use much background textures.

I really like blending textures though because they can be useful and really simple to make a "quality" style to your edits, especially if you don't have much inspiration at the moment.
