Though it wasn't very productive, it was an insightful day. I didn't add anything to my thesis, sadly. But thanks to Miss Dickinson's poetry, I was able to overcome the infinite stupidity of the humans around me.

“Hope” is the thing with feathers -
That perches in the soul -
And sings the tune without the words -
And never stops - at all -

Greetings, dear citizens of the planet Earth!
I welcome you all to my account. Here I'll be sharing my journey as an international student (from Bulgaria & Turkey) living in Germany.
Before we start our journey, here are some things you need to know about me:
Age: early-to-mid 20s.
Occupation: I'm doing my master's degree in a lovely town in Germany.
Hobbies: You can usually find me watching the same sitcom again and again, writing soul crushing fanfics, baking all kinds of deserts –cinnamon cookies are my speciality– or taking photographs when I find the money to travel.
Taste in music/films/books: Absolutely adore 90s romcoms and early-00's music. Unashamedly watch terrible Hallmark Christmas movies, even though I'll never fall for the small-city-and-the-meaning-of-christmas propaganda. Any media about small towns and their dirty secrets. And oh, Jane Austen (her existence and all her works and all the works related to her works). I invite you to talk to me about our shared interests.
P.S.: This is a safe space for all genders, races, sexual orientations. As the Mevlana (or Rumî) said; "Come, Come, whoever you are. Wonderer, worshipper, lover of leaving. It doesn't matter. Ours is not a caravan of despair. Come, even if you have broken your vow a thousand times. Come, yet again, come, come."
Welcome to my life and to this journey, please don't get lost in translation 🍀
