I've been having a really hard time lately adjusting to the amount of bots, reposters, haters and overall meanness on the internet... I know it's a new reality, but still... kind of hard to get used to 🥹

I really love to think about how weird in the force Ezra is

imagine Lothal's wind following him around, his hair always swaying in the air, or the moon shining brighter on whatever planet he's on

the grass grows taller as he passes through the fields of Lothal, its rustle whispering something he can't quite understand

if he stands in one place for too long the grass will grow around his legs and he'll start sinking into the ground, the planet ever-yearning to get its child back into the soil

Ezra saw the universe through the whale's eye and the universe never left his mind

Anyone else here used to be a major stan of Inazuma Eleven, Beyblade or Bakugan?

I don’t think I ever had a proper beyblade or played the inazume eleven games because they didn’t sell em where I was or something. But I did have Bakugan and we even played at school like 2-3 times , but it kinda died out really fast 🥲🥲

I really wanna talk about my probably favourite moment of Dogsred - writing wise

So….. Dogsred spoilers, I guess? But it’s only about chapter 7 lol

I’ve seen some discussions about Noda’ talent in utilising manga pages in a way that creates this editing storytelling effect, and I bet everyone can remember at least one impressive example of that from GK or Dogsred, so I am sharing mine

I JUST LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE HOW HE BUILDS SCENE HERE

Kosugi scoring a goal got me hyped as hell because this should have been the culmination of the whole match and Kusugi story in general, but what Nida does instead? He immediately switches scenes to the future, like yes, we can see that Kosugi did score because now they are allowed to use the ice on the lake, but like this cut is so rapid, it leaves us unsatisfied at some point because we are being ripped of of story’s climax (also the contrast between the heat of the game and quietness of the lake, I wonder what sound effect animators will chose for the sound of puck getting into the net, will be echoed like distant memory or just boring practice goal?)

And then Dohi asks Rou simple question “Was it fun” and Rou being the most tsundere of his says “dunno, I forgot” yes yes we believe you, baby

And then we flip page

Can you hear it? Can you?? Because I am hearing this roar as though I am watching Olympics and a team just made a historical victory

And now we see this climax, and we see the next page too, where Rou is finally not alone on the ice and it was. fun. and it was something Rou never experienced before

So now we do not even have to question why he chooses to see Oinokami’s play over his long-time rival performance , even though it was never (never) said in words

And well personal: as a crazy figure skating fan I had little interest in hockey even though I watched Olympics I could never get the hype. And I still don’t quite get it, but when I reread these pages I am like OH MY GOD HOCKEY IS SO MUCH FUN WOOHOO BABY HERE WE GO

ok but I've developed a thought I can't get out my head: aaron hotchner would be a perfect batman. do you see it? do you know what I mean?? can anyone see the vision? like he'd be a perfect bruce wayne in his 40s, training his squad of robins (the bau team) to help/take over, being more business oriented and more mature, right? like... like his voice?? perfect batman voice
