As for your question, this is the answer! (also attaching my inspo for this below lol) I will never pass up a chance to draw RumiDeko---

For the details, I'll just go over the factors of what Kana generally considers when thinking about the ideal person she would want Kurumi to end up with.

Nadeko has a lot of personal struggles herself (and who doesn't? It's a very interesting aspect of her character 🥰 I believe in women's rights and wrongs!), but her strongest point here is that, unlike a certain someone who Kana will not name in this post, this lady from the Murakami family is absolutely not a "stupid-ass pathetic loser" (Kana's words)...Unlike a CERTAIN SOMEONE who Kana will not na---

It's actually even the complete opposite, considering her positive reputation as a rep and as a top-scorer in school.

Besides that, the more important factor for Kana is that Nadeko is a strong and capable person, considering her skills in swordsmanship. So if anything ever happens, Nadeko would be able to be someone who can protect Kurumi. But of course, Kurumi is also strong enough to protect Nadeko in return. This just means that during difficult times, they would be able to rely on each other and watch each other's backs.

Lastly, their similar struggles in childhood and life as children of yakuza families, really does allow the two to understand each other a lot more. There will be communication issues, but Kana hopes that Kurumi would be able to really open up and become more transparent to Nadeko eventually, since they're already great friends.

Hello! New OC x OC crossover ship just dropped! 😆 This artwork features Kurumi and Nadeko (@melonchanverse's OC), inspired from this song. Please listen to the full song, it fits them so well (...if the ship is uhhhh...doomed 😈😈😈).

Their voice claims are the same VAs of a character pairing I support, so Mel and I talked about them quite a bit!

Both of them grew up in these overwhelming roles under their respective yakuza families bearing the burden of expectations that were just too much/unfair for their younger selves. Because of this, they both secretly yearn to live normal lives, but of course, it would be easier than done.

They're two young girls, who at their core, want to be able to freely live the way they want someday with the people they cherish. If they were to meet in an AU, I'm sure they'd get along well.

Actually, Mel, Sou & I already have an AU for it --- let's goooo Yakuza Neighbors AU!!
