Youth from Rumph have a blast at a Sixers game
Wanda Mills, Rec Leader 1 at Rumph Recreation Center, recently received tickets to a Sixers game for youth in her basketball league. The tickets were a thank you for the work she undertook running the District 4 basketball league.
Children who participated in the league and other activities at Rumph were invited to attend.
Wanda wrote, “we all really enjoyed the game, especially the kids. It was the first game some of them had ever been to.”
She added, “It was amazing to see Ben Simmons make the first 3-pointer in his professional career!”
