Pacing back and forth had kept him attuned to the sound of his own footsteps, the only thing to focus on other than his thoughts racing wildly. It had taken over his mind and his body. The archer could do little more than think lately, as he was robbed of the ability to sleep and any notion of peace of mind. Quite a sacrifice he had made for this power, and yet.. he knew little of how to control it.
He had ventured to the outskirts of the city for now, content with not looking back on those who had exiled him. There was someone else worth seeking out now. Someone else who had rejected the ideals of balance and put power above all else. He would have to seek her out.
He knew little of Syndra's location. A temple in the sky? It was not something he had thought to look out for. However, spending time in the ruins of the temple so long ago pulled from the ground seemed like a reliable place to find her.
The black mass along his body seemed to pulsate at the sight and aura of the place; the flow of magic was strong in the air despite the location being long since abandoned after the incident.. much like his own village after Noxus' attack. Abandoned, left as a scar on the city-state as a reminder that preserving the balance of the land was paramount to the lives and abilities of one..
Pathetic. Varus clenched his fist at the thought, looking up to see if his idea for locating her was anything more than presumptuous.
