Since back in the 90s, Lu Sierra, has graced my path! Super model of the 90s & these days she’s the official trainer @ Miss Universe & Miss USA. I used to book models at I.Magnin & Neiman Marcus back in the day and Lu was one of the hottest most in demand models to book back then. We worked a lot of fashion shows together especially for Bob Mackie shows. Then a few years ago she and I were hired by the Miss Universe Organization to both train @ the Confidently Beautiful Workshop for pageant contestants. Life is so precious as with the emphasis on time. Loved ones passing, pets passing, jobs gone, clients gone, dreams wasted on the side. Love the ones you love. Time spent with them here on Earth are not guaranteed. Anything can happen. Be grateful for what you have, for the people in your life, for the important things in life like a roof over your head or food in your fridge. We all get one time together on this journey on this planet. Make the most of it. For for your dreams. Face any fears and/or inhibitions and do it anyway! Do you! Love your family, friends, pets and and love YOU to the max. You are worth it and you deserve all and only the best. We are racing against time together. A friend of mine used to clap his hands and say there, ten minutes has gone by, 20 minutes has gone by, 30 minutes have gone by..etc, etc. It was his loving reminder to remind me how fast time is fleeting by. I've had someone (whom I thought was a dear friend) outright say to others(behind my back): "Joey Galon will never be a fashion designer..." While that "sting" hurt and bruised my ego for quite some time, especially since it came from someone who I had thought was a friend, mentor and someone I looked up to... ...it was about the BEST gift he could've given me as it has kicked my ass to prove him and anyone wrong who have had disbeliefs about my abilities as a fashion designer, as an entrepreneur and as a success. Thank you to the naysayers on my path, you've kicked my butt in the most profound way for which I am eternally grateful!
