I didn’t set an Easter table this year but I still had to get some bunnies on one for a Spring setting. The rabbit plates (several are for sale on my website) are antique French Sarreguemines Transferware, each with a unique rabbit scene. I love to add natural elements into most any tablescape and the log slices do just that. They are from Spirit of The Woods, Inc (www.birchbarkstore.com). This small business made me roughly 100 various sizes of tree slices, chargers and a cake stand for Kalyn’s wedding on short notice and they are perfect. We had a large one made with feet and a food safe finish which held the wedding cake. Others we used as plinths for candles and centerpieces. If you’re in the market for any type of tree slice charger, charcuterie board or plinth, I highly recommend this website! I found the woven rabbits at several different retailers and picked them up here and there. I love the added texture of these and the wood with all the flowers and China…it adds a touch of nature and a bit of a rustic feel.
