01. What does your character’s name mean? Did you pick it for the symbolism, or did you just like the way it sounded?

Ruthiel’s name comes from an original project I’m working on. I named her this because she was my first character and I had no idea about the world and lore, so I just remade an existing character in both Name and looks.The original Ruthiel actually has an accent over her U, and little in common with the GW2 version of herself.

05. Are they sexually confident or more of the shy type?

Neither. Ruthiel is a sex-repulsed Ace.

15. Is there a certain person in this world that they cannot stand? The very mention of this person’s name makes them tremble with anger or fear.

Ruthiel has a habit of befriending people by default, so she doesn’t have anyone she just dislikes for no reason.Allthough, her past does still haunt her, and as a former bandit, there are people that attempt to get revenge on her for leaving and selling many of them out to the Seraph. She tries not to think about them too much, but generally sympathizes with them still. Having been one of them, she knows the reason why people turn to crime, and feels like she has no right to judge, just because she got out.

25. Is there something traumatic from your character’s past that greatly affects them even to this day?

As mentioned above, Ruthiel used to be involved with organized crime. Since she’s generally a gentle person, she tried to get away by herself before encountering the Vigil for the first time, and failed. Months of being stuck with the bandits, and feeling like they owned her, fearing for her elderly mother’s and little sister’s lives did leave a toll on her.Not to mention the Dragon War, and eventually losing her lover, Trahearne.
