Alright, au revoir

I’ve been thinking about this for a while, and what with everything that today represents, I’m gonna have to log off this website for good. I love learning and listening and interacting with everyone on here, but I need to do some of the work I would like to do and the dash is a counterproductive distraction, especially with my anxiety. I’ll be blogging on WordPress if anyone wants to stop by: Between Thursday and Friday.

That feel when you’re roleplaying conversations with the police with your bf’s daughter because her mother stopped by a precinct today (thank god above, below, throughout, and within they were closed) because she thinks verbally abusing her daughter’s father (my bf) is perfectly fine, but being told off for verballing abusing him is a crime. We literally had to explain to V that saying mean things to people isn’t something that will land you in jail after she had a crying jag about it this afternoon. Then during her bedtime routine, I pretended to be a cop explaining that legal fact and how respectful communication should play out. Now it’s almost midnight and she’s still not asleep because what kind of 6-year old wouldn’t be stressed up to their eyeballs about it.

I’m glad I’ve got some leftover wine because this has been some kind of New Year’s Day. In conclusion:
