Here we go again || (DA!Verse)

Two months hadn’t really been enough time to get acclimated to this world thought Shepard had to admit learning what he had from Keeper Marethari and even Mahariel had taken the time to teach him as much as they could about this land of course he knew that they didn’t really believe him when he had talked of his old world. But that had been roughly a month and a half ago before that Duncan fellow had passed too close to the camp leading to both himself and Lyna being recruited.
So here they were traipsing through swampy wilds behind a dwarf with a sniveling knight and an obvious thief as the other three recruits. Of the three, Shepard thought only the dwarf was likely to make it through whatever this joining ritual was. Glancing around, he saw the junior member of the Warden order seeming to try and get a read on them all. On top of that, Shepard couldn’t stop the feeling that they were being watched.
The Shem that they had adopted into their clan was a strange one, Lyna thought as she walked with light steps between the Shemlen Knight and fellow named Daveth. Unlike Tamlen, she hadn’t been too wary of the shem as Shepard had been respectful and even grateful to both Merrill and the Keeper for saving his life. On top of that, Lyna had noticed that the human had shown more respect towards each of the elders of the clan to the point where once he had been fully healed Shepard had started to work to help the clan learning their culture and even working to improve their armor and weapons.
Looking around as the small group moved through the Wilds, the Elf thought that the woods were too quiet and that was never a good thing, “Shem, are we close to this tower yet?” Lyna called out to that strange Alistair character.
