I see they upgraded the animation and backgrounds in this volume too.

Wow, it looks so different now. It almost feels like I’m watching a different show.

And Ruby looks a lot different too. Not just her great new outfit. Her face looks different. I guess they upgraded to a new software and had to create new character models?

Mmmm, the animation is so smooth now, and the colors are great. I’m really loving how this volume looks.

Everybody gets new outfits and everybody looks different. I think it’s the eyes.

That was great, but it was mostly action, so I don’t have a lot to say about it. Seems like most of the characters are where we last left ‘em. Ruby traveling with JNR, Yang and Weiss at home, and Blake running around who knows where.

I imagine a good deal of time has passed, so I wonder what’s going to happen that’ll spur everybody into action.

That shocked me. I definitely wasn’t expecting to hear Qrow narrating the WoRs now. I guess I should have expected someone else considering Ozpin is missing.

Alright, so Menagerie is the island on the bottom right. What’s the landmass that looks like dragon??

Oh god, there’s water Grimm too? How terrifying.

So. I was re-watching Volume 3 with my mom and sister and they decided to share this gem with me: They think Ruby isn’t actually Taiyang’s kid. They think she’s actually Qrow and Summer’s kid, and that Taiyang just raised her and Yang together since Qrow goes on all the dangerous missions. I am vehemently against this idea, but I just thought I’d share it.

Okay, so this is Hazel and he’s going to be meeting the leader of the White Fang. I already figured Adam wasn’t the leader. Sienna Khan, however, sounds like a female name. Then again, if I wasn’t looking at Hazel, I’d have figured that was a girl too.
