Parallels with Oscar & Ruby with them both being downcast & lagging bhind the others,Oscar after learning he just another oz like,an Ruby after penny death an everything that happen n v8

But it's in the volume after this Oscar starts to feeling better and have more confidence in him self and comes to turns with oz and his merge

So I'm sure with her team there to help Ruby will come to turns with everyone and keep going

They’re REALLY pushing the fact that strength isn’t going to win the war. So then, that begs the question: what will?

So I noticed a really interesting parallel between Ironwood and Yang while rewatching some volume 3 episodes. More details under the cut:

First off, I’d like to mention that I find this parallel really interesting, because, while Yang and Ironwood haven’t interacted much, I do think that what they have in common (losing limbs/parts of their bodies) will bring them closer together, heck, Ironwood personally made sure that Yang got a good prosthetic, and I’m sure that that will come up later on.

So now the actual parallels, the two most notable ones are the way the grimm run up to them and the way that’s shot

 and then we have the fact that both Yang and the general block the grimm’s left paw coming at them from the side with the arm they lost/will lose

 Another thing that i find of note is that they both seem to be fighting Alpha grimm.

And...that’s pretty much all I have for now, but if someone has any more idas or theories, feel free to add on!

Parallel between Oscar and little

Oscar and little are both far from home and for one reason or another can't return back to the home that came from

Oscar due to the fact that he's merging with us and his enemies will probably use his home as a Target to get him to do what they want and little because they never had a purpose back where they used to

live and wanted to figure out what their purpose was Oscar also wanted to figure out what his purpose was and look for something more from life than just being a farm hand like little he wants a purpose

And over the journey Oscar's been on he's changed and I'm sure over little journey they'll change and find their purpose too

There are many parallels between Oscar and Penny from the fact that Oscar is kind of the chosen one destined to bring the world together and the fact that Penny was built to save the world,

The fact that Oscar become the next Oz and that's something he doesn't want.

Penny becoming the winter maiden and that's something she doesn't want and them getting possessed/taking over by someone else and eyes glowing

many other parallels they have with each other but today I want to talk about the inspiration they take from one of the only person who's really pushed them forward and helped inspire them Ruby I mainly just want to talk about their outfits though

Penny to inspiration with her volume seven through eight design looks similar to Ruby's volume 1

through 3 design, and then you have Ruby's volume for design her sleeves mirror Penny sleeves from volume 1 through

And then you have Oscar where his outfit kind of almost perfectly mirrors Ruby's Volume 4 through 6 design

So I'm guessing whatever design / outfit Oscar has next it will probably mirror some of rubies volume 7-9 design

Okay hear me out what if we get a moment like this where Oscar is just kind of like John was in volumes four through five where he's kind of giving up on himself and doesn't feel that the world is dear to him without Ruby and the others and even with people around him trying to help him he's just spiraling and depression and doesn't really know what to do with himself without Ruby there 😅

If we get a parallel in V9 of Weiss being the first person Jaune talks to about Penny, like how Weiss was the first person he called and told her that Pyrrha had run off in V3, plus she saw what happened to Penny, so she’s aware of what happened already.

The level of trust that grew between them, and has grown since then. Truly and wonderfully beautiful development.
