This time Yurzu, a vulture-lizard-moth mix, and the very first creature SoGP made, she turned out surprisingly well for being made by someone who had barely any idea what he was doing. She's very old, and acts like a big sweetheart of a cat, and she has a tendency of picking up Golden by the back of his cloak and carrying him off when she deems he needs rest and he can't bring himself to throw her out.
Almost immediately after the last of her ancients left to ascend one of her local group members gifted her a cloak. Saying she liked it would be an understatement.
So not only is this iterator based off a cgf fish again, she's also both a partial outlet for a headcanon and an iterator I had an idea for the lore and story but not a design (besides the clothing)
Rambling about iterator builds and clothing progression ahead!!
Like, a lot of rambling-
So, headcanon: Before first generation iterators, there were 2 types of build, the beta builds, which are the very first of the iterator models, and the gamma builds, which is in between the beta builds and first generation models.
From the beta builds barely any of them functioned, as they were the very first models when the ancients were still figuring out the whole robotic god thing, and when they did function they did not function for long, so the ancients didn't bother dressing them up. Only one beta build is still functional, and they still don't have any clothing. That oc will come later and I'll go off about beta builds more when I post them.
Gamma builds were more advanced and most of them stayed functional. Because the gamma builds functioned for more than 4 cycles the ancients realizes they should probably dress them up. However they did not yet move to live on the cans, that happened WAY later, and the only clothing they had was the things they themselves wore, as well as that the gamma build iterators were held to the same dressing standard as ancients, resulted in most of the gamma builds wearing ancient clothing, like PoaFP. These 'dressing standards' consist of covering up most if not all of your body, as well as covering the face. The ancients of gamma builds were very strict about what said gamma builds wore.
First generation iterators was when ancients became more loose with what the iterators could wear. Loose cloaks became common as it allowed for more mobility than full body wrappings, by the second generation of iterators most ancients allowed the iterators themselves to choose what they wanted to wear. Accessories were still very common as well, mostly in the form of pearls, strings, bracelets and more.
2 new additions to the Ucalus, Flowering Branches and Corril.
FB is apart of the Western Arctic Research Local Group, and was basically a prototype to what later became SoGP. With that I mean he was also build to specialize in genetic modification. Because he's a whole lot older he is less advanced, but has more knowledge on how everything works.
The ancients in his colony have a very specific religion, and FBs puppet was designed to mirror that religion, hence the brighter colors and 'false wings', which are common to find on iterators build by ancients with this religion (it does not have a name yet and the lore is still wip)
Corril is his slugcat that he made himself, they were one of the very first creatures he made and more or less the first successful one. He is to say the very least really attached to them and treats them like they are his child, which they kind of are I guess.
Probably the biggest oc overhaul I have done yet, complete lore and clothing change besides the small color and antennae changes. I moved her from being a wandering iterator to the Ucalus, she also runs a cult that consists mostly of Ancients from other Itrators' colonies and a few of her own Ancients that decided to stay behind during the Great Ascention. Lore is still wip.
