RYAN DEMPSEY looks a lot like STEPHEN AMELL. HE 33 year old CEO who has resided in BACK BAY since JUNE 2015. EMPATHETIC, AMBITIOUS,and LOYAL but can also be IDEALISTIC, SELF-DEPRECATING and WORKAHOLIC.

Ryan was born and raised in Boston to two local deli owners. His family wasn’t crazy rich, but his parents made enough money that they were comfortable financially.
Ryan was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at a young age, exposing him to the medical field early on. He grew accustomed to monitoring his blood sugar levels and taking insulin and other medications regularly. Despite his diagnosis, he does his best to live life as normally as possible. He plays sports as a means of getting his daily dose of exercise and tries to maintain an active lifestyle.
Ryan attended Boston University for undergrad and Harvard for medical school. After graduation, he accepted a position as a physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. He quit his job when his younger sister died from cancer.
Ryan realized that he could make a much greater impact helping people not by being a doctor and caring for patients directly, but rather by working on cutting-edge medical technology. He founded the start-up Magnacor, determined to develop revolutionary technology that would changed the way healthcare was administered.
