Chapter 4 is up! We're back to the library in this chapter. Toni and Jeffrey learn that both her supervisor and new co-worker are fans of his work and have read all of his books. However, Jeffrey gets annoyed by both of them because the supervisor thinks he's dead and the new co-worker is a little too friendly to Toni.
But will he warm up to both of them? Guess time will tell.
This chapter turned out to be longer than originally planned, so I moved the smut to Chapter 5. Stay tuned when that happens as well as Jeffrey dealing with his biggest demon afterwards, the memory of his abusive mother.
Author's Note: Toni's new coworker is the one-off minor character, Ryan Hope, from the show, St. Elsewhere portrayed by my favorite voice actor and fellow Midwesterner, Rob Paulsen. I posted about this character a couple of days ago and I just loved him so much I had to use him. He's just so cute in that episode IMO. 😍
