Ryat's lips were nestled around a cigarette as he watched Sam coming back from the gas station they'd stopped at, fingers tapping on the wheel of his little red Pontiac.

He much preferred faster modes of travel, mainly his powers, but seeing as Sam didn't want things that way....here they were driving. Hazel hues appraised the other, his mind churning like a storm.

He didn't know what the hell they were.

The night before had been interesting....to say the least, and he wasn't sure where it left them. He didn't deserve anything good. Not even a friend....but he was trying to make as many amends as he could. Wherever that would get him.

"Took you long enough," he muttered, though there was a teasing smile on his lips.

"Got a full tank, and whatever the hell you just bought in there," he muttered, flicking the butt of his cigarette away.

"Where to man? You just point me in the right direction."

“I’ve got you” {for Ryat}

Ryat had come home covered in someone else's blood. It wasn't an uncommon occurance truthfully, but the strange part was that this time as he got in the shower, he stayed unmoving in the warm spray of the water. His thoughts swirled just like the blood mingling with the water that was going down the drain. When he heard Mei's voice, he didn't seem to react other than his eyes closing, his head falling forward as a warm wash rag made contact with his skin.

Finished sketch to start off on filling in another old sketchbook, the past while has been A Time so I just outlet a desire for rest into this drawing /<3<\ Apologies that art output here has gone down, just been struggling with life being hectic and also going through an art block patch (the worst kind where you want to draw but nothing wants to come of it) /<3<\;;;

Shutdown

Sometimes things get overwhelming to the point you feel paralysed by it all Done with watercolour, ink, tiny dot of acrylic marker on the bell and pencil for initial sketching (psst I post full size works and WIPs on my Patreon as well as talking a lot more about my thought processes there)
