The greeting immediately brought a smile to Lex's face, even though he had tried to be as quiet as possible with how late it was and Lex figuring Ry would be asleep already.
"Yeah?" he asked with a playfully teasing tone as he dropped his stuff by the dresser and crossed the room, not bothering to undress yet when all he wanted was to give his boyfriend some overdue attention after being in the Fae realm for a couple of weeks. "Missed you too. Sorry I couldn't get back sooner."
"Yeah. You know I always miss you when you're not here with me," he pouted as he sat up to wrap his arms around Lex and pull him close. It didn't matter to him how many times they went through this, he would always ache around the edges when Lex wasn't with him.
"Think I about annoyed your entire family while you were gone," he confessed with a laugh, knowing he had been unbearable with his pacing and nerves.
