I NEVER MAKE PERSONAL POSTS but I need a little vent space, so here we go

my car got repo’d on Tuesday with no notice, only a month and four days behind on payment (my autopay set up failed and NO ONE TOLD ME). I’ve refinanced and I’m getting it back hopefully on Monday, but that intensely stressful process ate my whole goddamn week when I wanted to use that time finishing my simblreen treats. tomorrow’s CAS treat is supposed to have a male and female rig version, but with all the tweaking to the texture I have to do from flat chest to tittychest, I don’t think the female rig version will be done by tomorrow 💀

and my mesh for next weekend’s treat is barely finished—I’m horrible at blender so I’ve passed it off to a friend to polish up for me, but I still have to do all the textures, and probably scrap patterns in favor of solid colors only. DISAPPOINTING! i think I’m gonna pull out some old CC I never released to put out alongside it so I feel better about having to scale back my plans so much.

I also haven’t had time to even boot up the sims in weeks, and I miss it. even if it’s a garbage game, it’s MY garbage game.

One of the greatest chats I've had in a while.

So, my friend came over tonight to study for an exam and, on some down time, we said something that really stuck with me. He said that he once had this writing professor who was teaching him how to create a good story. His professor said sometimes, when writing, you come up with a brilliant idea that you love; but, when you try to incorporate this idea in to the story it just doesn't fit with everything else. His professor said in good writing you have to learn how to let these types of ideas go. Even though you may love it and it may be your favorite piece out of the entire story, it just doesn't fit in the grand scheme of things. And I absolutely love that. I'm definitely applying that to my perspective on life.
