It's so funny how I heard buddy cup duo for Loki and Mobius but not Sam and Bucky....like even if ur one who dont ship them you know the relationship between the two is way more than buddy cup duo:)

Dont know how to explain it but like the platonic friendship for Loki and Mobius works better than for Sam and Bucky I feel!

I haven't seen Loki yet, only seen some gif but I agree with what you're saying about Sam and Bucky. They are not a buddy cop duo.

The thing is ever since Civil War came out, Stackie fans have been asking for a buddy cop movie starring Seb and Anthony, and even better a buddy cop movie starring Sam and Bucky... I think some people were calling for the buddy cop show even before!

The dynamic we saw in Civil War was more typical of buddy cop shows.... Like an iconic duo of frenemies with a love/hate relationship.

So when it was announced that there would be a Sambucky... a lot of people including me, thought it would be a buddy cop type of show...Like either the same dynamic as in Civil War or the jokes Seb and Anthony had with each other during the interviews... but something like that doesn't go beyond friendship.

But now that the show came out we see that it wasn't a buddy cop show. Of course there are some jokes in the show... but not that much, and there are much more emotional and heavy scenes between Sam and Bucky than between a lot of relationships in the MCU and the genre of the show would be more an action drama.

I think it isn't too far-fetched to say that Sam and Bucky'a relationship is one of the relationships that has been more explored and developed in the MCU.

All of this to say that no, Sam and Bucky don't have a buddy cop duo type of dynamic and if we insist on labelling them, based on what I have seen and what they have said I would say they are (romantic) partners.

And if you watch Grey's Anatomy, I would say they're each other's person.
