If there was one thing that Edward looked forward to throughout the months at Hogwarts, it would be Hogsmeade weekends by a landslide. He still recalled his very first time in the village and how he had been utterly captivated by all the magical supplies and trinkets. He hadn't had the money to buy most things given the low income status that his family possessed as well as not fully understanding magical currency himself but the experience was enough to keep him hooked on always making sure he found his way to the village. For the most part, he spent the day with his dormmates - which also happened to be some of his closest friends - just wandering around the small street, staring into shop windows or browsing the items on stock until they ended up at the Hogs Head drinking butterbeer or eating some random plate of food. This time was no difference except for the fact that the male had lost his friends in the massive crowd of people pushing their way to get to their favorite places before items sold out. For someone well over six feet tall - six foot four to be exact - seeing over people's heads was easy but pinpointing faces was not.
Heads of brown, black, blonde and the occasional red wizzed by his range of sight but considering that none of them happened to be who he was looking for, he sighed, placed his hands in his pockets and began to push through the crowd of people himself. It was cold with a light wind which really didn't help his situation at all. It also didn't help that he soon came to a stop when he noticed Andromeda in the distance. He didn't know if she was alone so he couldn't actually approach her so he figured watching her would be the easiest way to get her attention. Frankly, he just wanted to ask her if she was having a nice time, if she bought cool things, if she was cold. Basic conversation that shouldn't be so hard. And yet, he had to wait for some sign. Patiently but not patient at all.
