Harry Potter Vocabulary in Northern and Inari Sámi
To celebrate the Sámi National Day, the day of the Sámi people, I thought I could share some Harry Potter related words in two of the nine living Sámi languages, Northern and Inari Sámi. Unfortunately, the books aren’t translated into any of the Sámi languages, so I’m not even going to guess what e.g. Hogwarts, Gryffindor, Quidditch or Muggle could be in these languages.
