IT Tangled au
*a small gift for @s-oulpunk after I saw an anon ask about a Tangled au and since I’m a god damn sucker for Stenbrough and Tangled au’s I couldn’t stop myself so... hope you like it @s-oulpunk*
-For all his eighteen years of life, Bill was always kept in a tower deep in the woods and far away from any civilization as his father, Robert Grey puts it wanted to keep him safe from someone stealing his 80 ft long hair to hold his powers for their own
-Still Bill can dream of going outside to see the lanterns that only appear on his birthday every and as his raccoon friend, Richie, sometimes encourages him to break the rules with him always chickening out
-Stan “Robin” Uris is one of the greatest thieves/conmen in the land of Corona but slips up one day stealing the crown of the lost prince
-When Bill finally gets the courage to ask Robert if he can go out to see the lanterns with him he’s once again dismissed with Robert saying he’s too weak, naive and gullible to even see the outside world and Bill is once again disappointed
-Meanwhile Stan is being pursued by squire Beverly Marsh but after tricking her into getting trapped underneath a tree trunk he makes his way to a tower in the middle of the woods where he’s meet with frying pan in the face by Bill who can’t believe he’s seeing another human being besides his father but freaks out with the only hiding place he think of to stuff the body is in his closet
-When Robert comes back Bill manages to convince him that he can be left alone for three days to get paints in town and decides to tie up the could be dead but not really dead stranger with his hair and have Richie wake him up
-When Stan comes to his senses he wakes up to find himself tied up with...hair fucking weird til he sees the person who tied him up is a cute boy with golden long hair around his age and a raccoon
-After some demands to be let go Stan and Bill introduce themselves and make a deal: Stan takes Bill to the outside world or he never sees his satchel again
Stan:Wait, shit my satchel, where’d you hide it?
Bill:I hid it in a place you’ll never find it.
Stan:It’s in that vase isn’t it
Bill: *hits Stan with frying pan again*
-Now Stan, Bill and Richie are on a journey with Bill finally seeing the outside world both being scared as shit and excited as fuck. Somehow they both know that some crazy shits gonna happen but whatever it is their ready for it
