[ Everyone, this is the art! I commissioned a piece from @s-talking for Harmony’s HSR!AU.

They did an extraordinary job! The outfit, her updated cybernetics, all of it designed by Envy-mun! They went above my expectations and I am so happy with how this turned out!

This will be in Harmony’s HSR!AU info post. I just want to dedicate a separate post to this because my friend’s work deserves the spotlight!]

a man's silhouette paused at the edge of the cracked sidewalk, staring at the house whose presence seemed to swallow the street whole. Its paint was peeling, windows vacant, the front gate hanging loose on one hinge whilst the post box remained crooked as though it had given up decades ago. he had followed this trail from a country to another; undying red flowers, poppies, dog teeth — and every clue had led him here, to a place that made no connection.

the neighborhood was quiet and worn due to local government body negligence, but the house he was looking at was different. it loomed like a wound in the row of less modest homes, silent, unwelcoming, with no signs of life to it. no lights, no furniture visible through the grimy panes, nothing to really suggest it had been lived in recently. yet the detective felt it: intuitive instinct luring him as if this was the place.

he took a slow step forward, hand brushing the edge of the gate. it's prolonged rusty squeal inadvertently announced his intrusion, not that it mattered, he felt watched after all so he proceeded to come close to the front door. a gloved knuckle met the surface of old wood, letting a distinctive knock reverberate through the house's innards.

Seriously though you are literally the sweetest thing ever for always just dropping in with a pillow filled with compliments and then suffocating me with it~. This tiny unit here tries her best when it comes to a lot of things, even simple things like rolling out of bed onto the couch or eating something that isn't just bread and milk! Most of my energy goes to talking and writing with you honestly because I always get so excited when you're around! Even if you're not online for very long, it's more than enough to keep me energized for the rest of the day. So thank you for always taking the time to talk to me and say such nice things to me! You honestly don't know how much I love you~! I'm giving you a million hugs and kisses. Mwah!!! }

@s-talking / from this It digs. It's leaving his skin raw when he shifts. His breathing going from soft movement, to harder breathing as he begins to stir from the sleep he had been under. He was trying to recall what he had been doing prior. Kiran rolled his head for a moment groaning when he did so head ringing. The fae paused at the sharp pain that was radiating into him. He didn't normally feel pain as much and he was questioning that: was it iron? he had found the name of the material because of Earth and had avoided it if he could. The moved his head again as if he could shake off what was keeping his eyes from seeing. "Shit, who did I piss off this badly?" The fae muttered to himself. If he could have remembered more perhaps things would have been vastly different but he was drawing a blank. He exhales slightly trying to shift from where he's been tied with no real luck, most he can do is move his head to the side. He thinks about listening to see if any sounds are nearby but the pain is making him focus on that. He's always chased after it, and he still does. He knows some of the gaps in his memories could be due to the fact he has consumed more angel than he should have but he hadn't been in bad company right? He couldn't stay focused enough to burn whatever was keeping him still and he exhaled. He at least wasn't on the floor but that helped very little when wires were digging in. He closes his eyes for a moment. When was the last time he had contacted anyone? He exhaled. "What do you want?" The fae asks, the fact someone got the jump on him, it's rare and other than the pain, it's very few people that know what he really is. "Have I made any promises to you?"

//okay so this is gonna sound incredibly weird and probably make sense only to me and/or anyone who has played this incredibly niche game but idc, it made me proud of myself and I will explain it to the best of my ability

so there's this PS2 game called Rule of Rose aaand I've played it a lot. And it is infamous for its combat being... painful

Very painful

And not even in a "you have to be super good with the controls" way, in a "this is just straight up broken" way

the Hoffman boss is particularly infamous for how unfair he is, he's got an insane amount of invincibility frames and whenever you go in to smack him, you are going to take hits in return, guaranteed. There is no chance to dodge. He's got a wide smack range and an attack so quick it is literally impossible to move Jennifer away from it before he does it

you heal yourself by eating in that game. Jennifer is very relatable. Food is healing

𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐅𝐀𝐒𝐓: a wild sasquatch jumps on smasher.

The wild Sasquatch lunged at Adam Smasher from a building's rooftop, catching him off guard with its sheer size and ferocity. Clearly the creature had been targeting him as a potential threat to acquiring a mate. ❝ What the fuck? " Smasher's posture momentarily staggered as the creature's heavy fists crashed into his steel frame. The creature's massive fists pummeled his cybernetic body, each blow leaving crushing sounds that reverberated across the streets.

Recovering quickly, Smasher's demonic gaze focused on whatever the hell this thing was, and such audacity to even dare to attack him caused an inkling of hatred to bubble. ❝ Come here!! ❞ He bellowed. He swung back with brutal force and his metallic fists collided with the Sasquatch's abdomen, creating a sickening crunch.

A sight unseen, utterly unbelievable, two titans clashed in a brutal fistfight with each one landing powerful blows that would have felled a lesser opponent in a mere instant. The Sasquatch's raw strength and sheer size met Smasher's augmented power, creating a cycle of violence that caused nearby viewers to take cover or hide inside any close building. Sparks flew as metal met flesh, and the ground shook beneath their feet.

Smasher grunted as the Sasquatch's fist connected with his jaw, sending him staggering back. He retaliated with a lightning punch to the creature's gut once again, the force of the blow causing it to double over in agony.

Smasher smudged a metal thumb across the dent on his jawline. ❝ Not bad for a hairy fuck. ❞ Just as the finishing blow was to be delivered, the Sasquatch rolled away and leapt into a building's rooftop, before running off. A battle won, but a war that wasn't over for the creature ── it would be back for its glory.

The atmosphere had quieted in the flower shop. Earlier in the day it had been bustling, never an empty spot on the floor-- which Ava enjoyed to some degree as it kept him busy but he was just about pooped. This was to be expected with the holiday season and he was glad to be of whatever help he could be to the owners.

Leaning against the counter, he was just about to doze off, his thoughts swirling with various images...memories, ideas, impending dreams; it was that space right between the waking world and that of slumber. The jingle of the doorbell startled him back into reality and he sprung up from the counter, quickly wiping away any drool that had escaped his lips. "Welcome in!" Ava hoped that the customer hadn't noticed him scrambling. | @s-talking
