SPAZ has shitty art.

When I first bought the humble bundle 6, it was a gut reaction. Then I looked through the games and saw Space Pirates and Zombies and I was like  'Space-themed Micromanagement! Hooray!" and then I loaded up the game and saw this;

and I started crying on the inside, because these guys are obviously proud of their game and it's got all the space-themed micromanagement I could want, but GOOD LORD the art assets in this game are fugly as sin. In particular the character portraits and the smileys that show how much the factions like or hate you. So I decided to do what any sane guy who knows where the art assets folder for the game is located...

I STARTED REPLACING THAT SHIT. WELCOME TO SPAZ; SANS THAT DAMNED PHOTOSHOP BEVEL EFFECT.

So yeah, once I complete the portrait set, I'll make it available for anyone else who gave up on this great game because of the visual vomit causing your gag reflex and all that. I might stop there because frankly there's no money in this for me, but the portraits are the main thing that needed replacing anyway. Plus it's fun switching this stuff around.
