Upon first meeting, Jane didn’t know what to think of Tarzan. Throughout her life, she’d been accustomed to meeting people from all different backgrounds, but never had she met anyone who had been raised by apes. She was hesitant to approach him at first -- much less communicate with him. But upon further interaction with him, something inside of her clicked. Suddenly, things she had previously been terrified to do were done with Tarzan’s encouragement. She felt more alive than she had ever felt before, and that was because of Tarzan. To her, he was funny, adventurous, sweet and considerate: he was everything she wanted in a partner and more. And, she found herself loving him, very quickly but altogether brightly and fiercely.

If Juliet remembered the extent of what she and John went through -- if she remembered every moment shared between them -- she would most likely not know how to react. Being shocked would be the most obvious reaction to her remembering her past life, and yet to remember the feelings she had for her dearest friend -- her best friend, at that -- would render her speechless. Not to say that she still doesn’t have those emotions now, since she certainly does. But it would still surprise her nonetheless since her emotions for John would remain the same.

There is no one in the world that Juliet trusts more than she trusts John. He is her closest confidant and best friend. Without him, she wouldn’t know what to do. He’s been with her through the thick and the thin. She loves and trusts him more than anything. To her, he’s the best person and kindest person: the epitome of what it means to be a good person. There is no one in the world she’d rather have as a partner in crime.
